Overview
To view a client profile in OVIAH, open the Clients tab and select any client — profiles store contact info, booking stats, preferences, notes, and full appointment history.
What's in a client profile
Every client who books with you gets a profile in OVIAH. The Clients tab in your dashboard is where you manage your entire client list — view details, track history, and add notes.
Each profile contains:

Contact info
Name, email, phone. Email is required to create a client. Phone is optional but needed for SMS reminders.

Status
Active, Inactive, VIP, or Blocked. Status helps you segment your list and manage who can book.
•
Booking stats
Total bookings, total spent, lifetime value, no-show count, cancellation count, and last visit date. All calculated automatically.

Preferences
Communication preference (email, SMS, both, or none), preferred services, preferred time slots and days, and preferred stylist if you're a multi-provider business.
Personal details
OVIAH lets you store details that help you deliver a better experience:

Allergies and special notes
Critical for salons, spas, and wellness — record sensitivities so you never have to ask twice.

Birthday and anniversary
With birthday wishes enabled (Studio Pro), OVIAH sends an automated email on their birthday. Anniversaries are for your reference.

Tags and priority
Add custom tags (e.g. "wedding party," "referral," "monthly regular") and set a priority level from 1–5 for internal use.
Cycle-aware booking
For wellness and beauty professionals, OVIAH offers optional cycle-aware booking. If a client opts in, they can share their cycle data (last period start, average cycle length, period length) so you can recommend optimal appointment timing. This is fully opt-in for privacy and available as an add-on mod.
Tip
Use the search bar in the Clients tab to find anyone quickly by name, email, or phone. You can also filter by status to see just your VIP clients or check who's been blocked.
