Overview
To add services in OVIAH, go to Services & Pricing in the Business Operations menu, click Add Service, and enter the name, duration, price, and category.
Creating a service

Open Services & Pricing
From your dashboard, go to Services & Pricing in the Business Operations menu.

Click Add Service
Enter the service name, description, duration (in minutes — default is 60), and price. These are the details clients see when they're choosing what to book.

Assign a category
Select an existing category or create a new one. Categories help clients browse your services — especially if you offer multiple types (e.g. "Hair," "Nails," "Skincare"). Each category has a name, description, and color label.

Set the service type
Choose whether this is a main service (bookable on its own), an add-on (only available with another service), or both. This controls how it appears in your booking flow.
Add-on services
Add-ons let clients customize their booking. A deep conditioning treatment, a scalp massage, or extra lash volume — these are services a client can add on top of a main service during booking.
When creating an add-on, you can configure:

Compatible services
Choose which main services this add-on can be paired with. For example, a "Deep Condition" add-on might only be compatible with "Wash & Style" and "Color Treatment."

Additional duration
If the add-on extends the appointment, toggle Affects Duration on and set the additional minutes. OVIAH automatically adjusts the calendar to account for the longer booking.

Add-on price
Set a separate price for the add-on. This is added to the main service total. If the add-on is complimentary, set the price to $0.
Tip
Add-ons are a great way to increase your average booking value without creating dozens of separate services. A $15 add-on offered at checkout can meaningfully add up over a month of bookings.
Managing categories
Switch to the Categories tab in Services & Pricing to create, edit, or delete categories. Each category has a color — this color appears as a label on your booking page, making it easy for clients to scan your offerings at a glance.
You can deactivate a service or category at any time without deleting it. Deactivated items won't appear on your booking page but remain in your records.
