Understanding payouts and fees

Overview

Payouts from OVIAH go directly to your connected Stripe or Square account on a rolling 2-business-day schedule — transaction fees are 2.9% + $0.30 with no additional OVIAH platform fee.

How payouts work

When a client pays through your booking page, the money goes directly to your connected Stripe or Square account — OVIAH never holds your funds. Payouts from your payment provider to your bank account happen on a rolling schedule, typically every 2 business days once your account is fully verified.

The exact payout timing depends on your payment provider and how long you've had your account. New Stripe accounts may see a 7-day initial hold; after that, payouts arrive on the standard rolling schedule.

Fees

Transaction fees are 2.9% + $0.30 per payment — the standard rate from Stripe and Square. OVIAH does not charge any additional platform fee on top of this. What your provider charges is all you pay.

Manual payments (cash, check, Venmo, CashApp) recorded in OVIAH have no transaction fee since they don't go through a payment processor.

Tracking your earnings

The Reports tab in your dashboard gives you a full picture of your revenue. You can view:

Verified revenue
Actual payments confirmed by Stripe or Square. This is the real money that hit your account.
Estimated revenue
Calculated from booking prices — useful for forecasting even before payments are fully processed.
Breakdowns by service
See which services generate the most bookings and revenue. Great for deciding what to promote.
Date range filters
View today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, this week, this month, or set a custom range. Compare against previous periods to see growth.
Tip
Export any report to CSV from the Reports tab. This makes it easy to share revenue data with your accountant or track your numbers in a spreadsheet.
