Connecting OVIAH Pay
To connect Stripe or Square to OVIAH, go to Settings > Payments and click Connect on your provider — funds go directly to your account and OVIAH never holds your money.
What is OVIAH Pay?
OVIAH Pay is the built-in payment system that lets you connect Stripe or Square through Settings > Payments and start collecting deposits the same day. You connect your own account via a secure OAuth flow — your money goes directly to you and OVIAH never holds your funds.
You can also accept manual payment methods like cash, check, Venmo, or CashApp and record them in your dashboard for complete booking records.
Connecting Stripe
Connecting Square
The process for Square is similar — click Connect on the Square card in your Payments settings and authorize OVIAH through Square's OAuth flow. If you already process payments through Square, this lets you keep everything in one place.
Square supports credit cards and integrates with your existing Square ecosystem if you use their hardware or point-of-sale system.
After you're connected
Once connected, your dashboard will show the account ID, connection date, and last used date for each provider. You can immediately start requiring deposits on bookings and collecting payments.
Transaction fees are 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction — the standard rate charged by Stripe and Square directly. There are no additional OVIAH platform fees on top of that. You can view all transactions, pending payouts, and payout history from the Reports tab at any time.
Manual payment methods
Not every client pays online. You can record cash, check, Venmo, and CashApp payments directly in the booking details so your records stay complete. Manual payments won't trigger a digital receipt, but the booking will be marked as paid in your system.
